Love, love, LOVE your pinks, and after reading your inspiring prose, I'm ready to pack my bags for the beach. One day I am determined to experience a sunrise on the east coast and then drive over to the west coast for a sunset. It wouldn't take more than 4 hours to make the drive, even in the wide part of the state where I live. Wouldn't that be cool?

Superb collection...my favorite is the one with the gull, love it when they pose.
This post has such lovely shades of pink. I also love the texture conveyed in many of the photos. The fire hydrant was quite different.
Hummingbirds do get to know us also. They come down and look us in the face when we are in the garden watering. We just stand still and watch them. We took down a feeder once and we never heard the end of it - until we put it back up. Love them.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a pink fire hydrant
Oh my goodness! What memories you prompted with this one! Tulips are my favorite flowers, and these are gorgeous. I was the subject of one of those portraits when I was 5. I remember that the photographer borrowed the dress and hair ribbon I wore, so he could get the colors just right.
I could have done flamingos! I have them... but I didn't want to repeat my Christmas post with my flamingos and pink feather door wreath!

Pink is a beautiful colour in it's different shades. I love bright hot pink, it's so cheerful and summery. Lovely pink post and pictures.
There is a federal standard for fire hydrants and each color has a meaning to those that use them. The color of the base has one meaning and the color of the caps has another. While your pepto pink hydrant may seem unusual it following a code that none of us understand.
