I am also in the NCARNG and I am also a full-time technician at a FMS shop.(If you're in the Gaurd you know what I am talking about.)I think it's great what you're doing Sir. People back here in the states need to know what really goes on over there. My 20 year old brother just came back in November after 14 months in Iraq. He's an 11B with the STRYKER Brigade. He has seen and done things that no 20 year old should never have to endure!
My Bn just got alerted last weekend
with possible mobilization to Iraq.
So, If there is any words of advice or what to expect during mobilization I would really appreciate it very much. I can use this information to help my soldiers get through this as easily as possible. Thank You for all that you and your soldiers do for us! You are appreciated and respected by all who know what freedom really means.

Happy Valentine's Day! I look forward to reading your updates. I can't tell you how proud I am of all the troops there! I got pictures of my son today from your Commander!!! It shows what kind of people are in your unit. To think the Commander took the time to do that for us . I know she is very busy. You all are very special to us at home and we pray for you every day and night. Keep us the good work you are doing. Please stay safe and know we are very proud of you ALL!!!!Until next time.
It is good to hear you guys are doing ok. I have been getting e-mails from your commander giving me updates on my brother. She sent us pictures this week. He looked good. Please take care of yourself and the unit! You guys are missed!
Thank you to you and all of your troops! As much as I miss my brother, I know he is happy doing what he feels he needs to do!The sacrafices a soldier makes is something only they and their families will understand. I don't know if you'll ever truely know of the support and well wishes yall get from home but do know that all of you are so loved and missed and are continually in our prayers! Be safe and come home soon!!

Reading this and knowing as a HM in the NAVY i'm going to be over there in less than a year, makes me have mixed feelings, but I have to do what i have to do, until then may god watch over you
