Talk To Me

Gravatar I still diagnose a MASSIVE allergy to golf.

Gravatar I too have chronic hives. I have been on prednisone as needed(up to 60mg daily), zyrtec and occasionally, when it is bad enough, I need an Epi-pen. My last outbreak was about a week and a half ago, bad enough for the Epi-pen. Still I broke out worse the next morning. One doc in NJ once suggested that I am worse in the morning and at night because of the moon and it's gravitational pull. That combined with your body slows to sleep, bad combo. Hope you feel better, let me know if you find anything that works.

Gravatar Why hello MF!

Gravatar Jay, you are only the second person I have met (other than me) that has or had chronic hives.

Prednisone did not help me much, and I could not sleep while taking it. Allegra was no good either.

Clarinex in the morning and zyrtec at night has been the best combo for me. I am taking Singulair now for the respiratory junk, and it seems to be helping some.

I am probably going to start taking weekly shots on the off-chance they will help with the hives.

Gravatar Whenever I feel down or blue, I think about MF and my day gets better.
