I've been watching the news and getting more and more depressed about all this by the second. I can't imagine what it must be like for the people living there.

Last night, in the middle of the night I woke up to use the bathroom. For about 1 minute I had totally forgotten everything that was going on down there. It was nice. I then remembered and couldn't get back to sleep. Amazing. Scary. Sad.
