Wow. That's really pathetic. I know of 2 people who had this exact experience. One had to get rather nasty about it.

Oh wow, that was funny. I cancelled my AOL account 10 years ago and had a similar problem then. AOL is evil. I feel funny because I use roadrunner through Time-Warner, which is AOL-Time Warner, so technically, anyone who uses it is really using AOL, kind of. I wish there was a way around that!

We get it free with RR, so avoided the hassle of canceling.
Hey, MF, hope you had a great birthday.

You get AOL free with roadrunner? We don't. Not that I want it, as I said - it's evil, but do you actually have access to all the members only AOL crapola? Interesting. I wonder why we don't.

I've never used AOL so I can't relate, but I thought this was the funniest thing.
I first thought it wasn't real. Like some guy put it together for fun. I learned otherwise after his story gained media attention.

It is funny to see how much attention the whole story got and the fact that that guy even got so many interviews on tv. I am wondering which is a bigger paradox -that fact or the way AOL thinks it can bully its customers
