For the casual viewers who don't watch much of the European Tour on the golf channel, it seems like we get beat by no-names in the Ryder Cup. But those guys on the European team have game. We'll see if our lesser known team members can pull off a similar feat this weekend.

Thank God NBC (and not ABC) has the coverage this weekend so we get the HDTV feed. Now if I could just figure out how to block out Johnny Miller's voice from the telecast!

Tim, you are correct. The Euros are extremely talented and have already taken the lead this morning.

As I predicted, Tiger and Jim Furyk got a very close win, America's only one of the morning. One of our rooks, J.J. Henry, played great this morning and got a halve in his match.

I cannot stand Johnny Miller as an announcer. He was arrogant as hell as a player, and he is even worse as an announcer.

Perhaps we need a new strategy. How 'bout if your in the top 5 world ranking on the US side you are not eligible? It's not looking good. Right now I would settle for someone wiping that grin off Sergio's face. He makes me want to reach through the TV and grab him.
