Patrick:
Bobby Ross was a Buffalo Bills assistant when Georgia Tech hired him.

John, you are correct of course.
It occurred to me last night that my language was imprecise, since Ross worked a few weeks for the Bills between Maryland and Georgia Tech. I have edited my post noting this fact.
I still contend that Ed's statement about switching schools within the conference is at the very least incomplete without noting Ross' coaching two different schools in consecutive seasons.

Well, my son is a Jr at State, and he seems to think that the students (and future alumni) are happy with the pick. Ed should have come out of the Greensboro "Green Zone" get the feelings of some of the paying fans who have to sit through the football games.

Hardin is the most pessimistic writer of his time. I have been avoiding his articles for many years now. But how much talent is needed to work for the Greensboro News & Record?...remember, Lorraine Ahern still works there.

I am not willing to throw the baby out with the bath water, anon.
I think the great majority of the N&R's product, including Lorraine's contributions, are pretty damn good.

I hope you're kidding Patrick. Ahern's work good? She should be ridden out of town on a rail. She couldn't wear Bledsoe's jock strap. Note how carefully Bledsoe backs up his facts. Ahern couldn't begin to do that.
