The common man can't buy a break. As soon as he gets a little up in life, the elitist liberal machine tears him down.

As a good republican, Mr. Butash seems a bit too much like an economic girly-man, complaining about rising rents.
The new owners are doing what good capitalists always do - leveraging their hard earned investment income to squeeze the last bit of blood out of the turnip that is the lesser classes.
When he should be rejoicing that Our Leader's tax cuts are leading to investment, he instead says
"It's like Simon Legree," he said. "It's like a cartoon. It's out into the snow."
See? Girly-man. I like his picture tho - well within breed standard for a republican - balding, blotchy and rotund.

General, as Mr. Butash wrote you:
What I wrote to Mr. Neuharth was "what are you going to do if the Iraqi's [sic] follow you home?".
Surely this is a planned manoeuver by clever Mr. Butash, to misdirect the Iraqis who, with USA Today playbooks in hand, are coming to visit his home.
While the bombing runs in Iraqi cities are likely raising the rents (liberals are even blaming us for the law of supply-and-demand!), many Baghdad school districts have freshly-painted facilities (good news you won't see reported by the likes of Mr. Neuharth). It'd be wonderful to see Mr. Butash move there to witness the emergence of freedom and democracy he so courageously and rightly champions!
Wondering if he's having a garage sale,
Capt. Twelve A.M. Midnight, E.S.T.

Mr. Butash must be one o' them Republican relativists--rightwing in voice but doesn't mind leeching off the Social Security system his fellow-travelers hate. Probably also a closet Medicare user. He needs to get some reeducation so that he can properly refuse the communist lure of Social Security and pull himself up by his own bootstraps as befits his political beliefs. Otherwise he's a burden on the rest of us and should perhaps remove himself voluntarily from this earthly plane.

Perhaps I can help. There are affordable apartments on Clemens Place on Farmington Ave., but Mr. Butash might have to associate with black persons and liberal college students. Of course he will probably not meet up with too many of them, because they are all either WORKING OR GOING TO SCHOOL. They do leave good magazines in the dumpsters, but I'm not sure he would be interested.

Dear General,
I think that Dr. Butash is actually quite lucky to be evicted from his apartment.
He should move to a red state where his right wing views are appreciated.
Thanks for the tip about Bugmenot, it is a hoot.

General, I reserve my comments on Mr. Butash's situation. As he is an alleged retarded... um, retired, college professor, he must be part of the leftwing monolith that wants to destroy this country through pot-smoking and buggery.
I abhor such behavior in retarded college professors.
If he contacted me to arrange a time and place to meet (discreet of course), I would be sure to correct his behavior.

It's called Progress and Mr. Butash needs to deal with it! If he can't he needs to move to mexico with all the other crybaby liberals and leftist movie stars.
Maybe him and Susan Sarandon can lease a hovel outside Meixco city till they realize how stupid they were to criticize America!
