Why not bring the recruiters to the hotel? I would love to see some video of College Republicans trying to get recruiters in uniform kicked out of a hotel. Perhaps we can get one or two of them to try and physically remove a Marine Recruiter. Surely these God fearing Americans would allow a recruiter time to adress a few of their assmeblies and meetings? Seeing them refuse on tape would be astounding.

(Use visible camera AND a hidden camera. The good stuff will happen after you turn of the visible camers.)

Absolutely, let's see what we can do. I work in DC, so I can't make it home in time tonight--would it make sense for you to take that shift, or are you likewise unable? It's too bad, today is when most of the event took place. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it Saturday due to family problems, but I'm working on it--during the lunch and Conservative Republican Awards ceremony strikes me as a great time to make ourselves known. If not, myself and another of the General's soldiers will be heading out Sunday, early.

I called the first number again and got a vm msg saying "Potomac Recruiting's vm box is full."

Tried Sgt. Ruiz again and got his vm too. Left him a long msg. Told him as far as I know there are no military recruiting reps at all scheduled to speak or appear. It's his opportunity to get some of President Bush's most ardent supporters.

SUCCESS! I just spoke with a Sgt. Nauta in Falls Church (DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT CALL HIM AGAIN) and it's the first he's heard of the CRNC convention. Told him about how many Bush supportin' college age kids will be there and he got pretty excited. Said he'd get over there. Told him good luck and go Army! Hooyah!

Saturday we ran the taxi, with a big poster in the back of the car reading "recruitment shuttle," but as far as we could tell everyone stayed inside, and we weren't satisfied with the reaction. The sunlight, it burns Republican flesh!
