An assortment of very manly comments

Gravatar Wow. Just, wow.

Gravatar General, Sir:
An outstanding effort, but I believe for the full effect to be realized one must view it 4000x.

Gravatar OMGeneral, FUCK THEM,FUCK THEM, FUCK THEM. I fuckin' hate these assholes.
I'm teaching my daughter to drive ~ I told her, "remember that 90% of these assholes on the road voted for this bullshit war ~ so be very careful cause they're all a bunch of dumb shits." Bush is top of pile and the rest flow all around us with their vile, putrid, corrupt smell of death and ignorance. I hate the haters ~ can't help it.

Gravatar Make it 4,003 times. It's gone up since I posted previously. But Iraq is returning to "normal". Our Glorious Leader said so just today.

Gravatar Popin-in: Hating the haters is okay. It makes you sane.

Gravatar Dave, these are dark days my friend ~ dark days.

Gravatar Church deacon charged in near-castration bar brawl

OKLAHOMA CITY - A judge ordered a man Wednesday to stand trial on a felony assault charge after a bar confrontation that escalated from football trash-talking to a near castration.

Allen Michael Beckett, 54, will be tried on a charge of aggravated assault and battery, Special Judge D. Fred Doak ruled.

Beckett, a federal auditor and church deacon, is accused of tearing the scrotum of Brian Christopher Thomas, 35, in June. Thomas said he received more than 60 stitches and still endures pain, although there was no permanent damage.

Thomas wore a University of Texas shirt into a bar popular with fans of the University of Oklahoma and said Beckett immediately taunted him.

After about 20 minutes at a table, Thomas said he decided to leave and went to pay his tab at the bar when Beckett attacked him.

Gravatar It's not quite done. Our descent into the inner circles has just begun. Up is down, and right is wrong. Listening to C+ Augustus speak of progress and righteousness makes me sick. He does not care one bit about the consequences of his actions. And we have not hit bottom.

I believe our suffering will continue until everyone is affected. Not just the ones in the video.

As it ever was...

Gravatar These are the times that try mens' souls and none more so than our Glorious Leader's. He asks himself time and time again why people simply will not understand that he is right. About everything. With U.S. diplomats cowering in their bunkers as mortar rounds and missiles rain down on the Green Zone, and Basra, the only port of any importance in Iraq, under the control of the Mahdi Army, what could possibly be more "normal"? Just think, if everything gets any more "normal" we'll be leaving Iraq even sooner than Dick Cheney and John McCain had planned and it's all the doing of the greatest American president of all time, George W. Bush.

Gravatar I borrowed this and put it on my own blog, assuming your français intérieur wouldn't mind. Yeah, I'm a DFH who was once even fluent in frog, and am even more fluent in wanting honor and law restored to the US.

Gravatar Times like this, a man likes to quote himself.

I recently referred to the situation thusly:

"[E]ven though only a minority of soldiers and marines think the war was justified in the first instance, there they are, stuck in the middle of somebody else’s civil war which was unleashed by an unthinking coward who just happened to fall ass-backwards into the presidency after a lifetime of shiftlessness and failure."

Was I being too harsh?

Gravatar "So?"

- Dick Cheney

Impeach, indict, imprison. America's leaders just don't care that their stupidity, stubbornness, hubris and greed are killing people by the dozens every single goddamn day. They know they are wrong, they have know it for four and half years, but they won't admit it, they can't fix it and they won't even try. Iraq is fucked for a least the next 20 years and the current White House has mortgaged America's soul by not just looking the other way, but encouraging, sometimes insisting that its minions engage in reprehensible, immoral, inhuman actions such as torturing prisoners.
I am not sure whether America will ever be the same again.

Gravatar Yes, Rev. Paperboy, but at least they didn’t do the unspeakable … at least none of them said they were ashamed of America, like that terrible Michelle Obama. That’s an unforgivable sin.

Gravatar I hope bush gets the MacBeth curse. The blood will never wash off, the ghosts will always haunt this vicious prick.

Gravatar Moondancer raises an interesting point. Interesting, isn’t it, that a whacked-out Lady Macbeth was more sentient that the Goober-in-Chief. At least she had a conscience to eat at her.

Gravatar General Sir:

Unfortunately, my Corporation's Security Apparatus(cue the herald of angels)has determined that all things YouTube are counter to it's interests, and the SA has so thoroughly blocked access that all that is visible is a blank spot where the YouTube viewing frame is, I am assumming, located. Thus your thread appears:

My Inner Frenchman responds to Our Leader's speech on Iraq.
nothing...
nothing...
nothing...
empty, lonesome white nothingness...
ad nauseaum...

You can well imagine my disappointment. I assume it was brialliant, nay, I know it was brilliant, even if I shall never experience the joy of confirming it with my own eyes. Ah, the power of well-placed faith! But, the Coprorate Security Apparatus had my best interests at heart...I'm sure of it....

You were far too kind, far too gentle, far too generous and far too gracious. But, what the hell, you lawyer-types never do learn how to go for the throat in anything approaching a lusty manner. I guess the rest of us shouldn't hold it against you.You do the best that you can.

Gravatar Um, thanks Paul. I think ...

Gravatar Excellent video mon general! I'll probably be posting it to my blog also. This administration and the war they started are so disgusting I can't wait until it is all over and these criminals are out on the street again.

I don't understand why everyone doesn't storm the Whitehouse with torches and pitchforks demanding these people's heads. At least that's the way we'd handle it in France.

Gravatar Um, thanks Paul. I think ...

DvE,

I hate it when a joke falls flat. Oh, well, it seemed funny at the time.
