Well, as you say in your blog synopsis Patty, either our lives become stories, or there's just no way to get through them. The memorable moments like these are so much more valuable than the endless monotonous hours of sameness.
Which, as it happens, is pretty close to the reason why I left my life behind me and came to China - to tell stories and to make my own life a worthwhile tale in the process.
