The Oil for Food Scandal is just one of the UN messes.
I am working on a piece on some of what looks like foreign aid dollars Canada has spent to fund conferences in New York and Geneva.
Canadians need to know that dollars we spend on foriegn aid are actually helping those most in need. Not spend on expensive hotels and restaurant meals.

I think the UN needs to be seriously overhauled. With Rwanda & Oil-For-Food and a variety of other ills, perhaps it should be put out of it's misery & a new alliance formed?
Difficult to tell. I'm about 1/3 of the way through "Shake Hands With the Devil" and am appalled that the institution still exists.
