Careful how wide a brush you use. Most Muslims are pretty normal.
As I recall, fundamentalist Christians protested when the Life of Brian and the Last Temptation of Christ were playing in theatres. (Protested, that is, not setting anything on fire.) But still, they were adamant that these films shouldn't be shown because they were blasphemous. At the same time, most of the people in the line-up to see the movie were also Christians.
At another time in history, the Danish Muslim protest over the cartoons would have ended there. It was just a little spark, but too close to the tinder box.
