Nice one Pauline. Good to see you writing! I struggle with the plethora of hug requests, best friend invitations, ad nauseum on facebook and in my inbox, but I long since stopped either responding or feeling guilty. One of my pupils sent me a text message giving the names and addresses of someone who'd killed a child - Viral reactionariness (if that's a word) - and seemed annoyed that I hadn't sent the alleged child killer a letterbomb or something.
Ah, the wonders of the communication age! Anyway, I like what you write. Just thought I'd let you know. Just remember to forward this reply to 27 of your friends or both your legs will develop gangrene.
