Old political saying "never ever say never." That said, your're right the chances of a Kerry presidency are, at best, slim to none.

TSL, I don't know which is worse, the fact that Kerry couldn't articulate his way out of a paper bag in explaining a rather commensensical initial vote FOR an appropriations bill with a subsequent vote against the same bill laden with government contract pork to the usual suspects, or the people perpetuating this mischaracterization such as yourself actually appear to belief their own bullshit. And no, I'm not saying this because I think Kerry will ever be president--or that he should have been the Dem's candidate in 2004 for that matter.
