Hi Ken,
I am posting this as I listen to Irwin on triallogs.blogspot.com. I want to reinforce the fundamentals of Irwin's clear statements about the income tax law. There is nothing wrong with that law. It is based on clear principles that the government cannot ignore in its efforts to collect the "income" tax.
There is no need to argue the unconstitutional ratification of the 16th Amendment, or the fact that Article I Section 8 of the Constitution grants to Congress alone (not the Executive) the power "To lay and collect Taxes", or that the 4th and 5th Amendments in the Bill of Rights protect your rights to privacy and witnessing against yourself. The IRSS doesn't even recognize the Constitution.
But, they do recognize the Internal Revenue Code, and they try to use it (pervert it) to oppress "taxpayers".
But, if one READS the Internal Revenue Code section 7602, a section they attempt to apply to invade your privacy, one will realize that your friendly local Revenue Officer has no authority to invade your personal information, and when pressed, he cannot acquire it. The IRSS cannot survive its own "laws".

I wonder what kind of a deal the government's witness got. Remember the pilot case out of Hiwaii, the judge found out about the deal and gave all similiar situated people the same deal and the IRS attys are being sued.
