Hmmmm . . . the ugly front cover image is available here, but on the Amazon.com site you get "No Image Available" where the book should be displayed.

I wonder why that is? Does Amazon have the cover image but just doesn't want to show it? Why would they not want to show it? Is the linking of 'John Kerry' and that ugly picture just too damning for Kerry?

AFAIK, Amazon.com doesn't show cover images for any books that have been long out-of-print. Therefore their not showing a cover image for the Kerry book is normal and not indicative of a political agenda. I'm sure they could find a library copy or private copy in good enough condition and scan/photograph the cover like whoever produced the image did (the image we see isn't professional enough for Amazon to use), but with only three copies being sold, the lowest of which is $1,500, it wouldn't really be worth the effort. Showing the cover isn't very likely to make anyone more willing to dish out over $1,000 for a book!
