You really should be embarrassed by the content you have chosen to publish. It is not becoming of someone of your intellect. Fortunately, you are one of few in your profession that believes as you do--perhaps academia can be saved if America cannot. The answer to your question at the end of your post above is clear: Western Civilization is in decline, as evinced by the 2004 election. Perhaps old St. Pete will go easy on neoCons and only send them to purgatory with Mr. Lewis
