Wow! What a family!
Congratulations, Dr. Blosser, for the great sons you have raised!

Agreed! Two fine sons. I was an early subscriber to the Ratzinger Fan Club, and I've recently been reading Ad Limina Apostolorum with keen interest. It's rare to find such erudition and intelligence in someone so young! But it's also inspiring.

I just watched the rebroadcast of the opening Mass for WYD -- who says youth is wasted on the young! They fill me with great hope.
I have to confess, while listening to the Mass in German, I found it a little disconcerting when I heard a phrase that sounded like "blue dinosaurus" repeated a couple of times.

By my count that's three very successful sons and a beautiful daughter. Are there any Blossers hiding from public view?

Chris,
I have another son -- second in line -- named Jonathan, who majored in Japanese at Chapel Hill, spent two years in Japan brushing up his Japanese, and is now working for Toyota Corp. in Knoxville. He's the only son who is not yet married or Catholic (the two must go together). Thanks for asking, and for your prayers.

I'm sorry for asking, but why the deep connection of the family with the Empire of the Rising Sun?

New Catholic,
I was born in China and spent the first twenty years of my life in Japan. Our first two sons were born there, and one retained an attachment to Japanese language and culture.

Dr. Blosser:
Do you think your son will be able to convert some of those bishops to the Catholic faith?
Yowser!
