Is it Msgr Kelly or Fr. Baker S.J. who uses "bishop" as a verb?

I'm not sure, but I know Martin Heidegger may have been the one to start the trend by saying the world "worlds" in his book, Being and Time.

The envelopes distributed by my parish say "CATHOLIC Campaign for Human Development."
Thank you for this information.

Barb,
Some time ago -- perhaps eight to ten years ago -- Catholic World Report ran a major exposé of CHD, revealing it's quasi-Marxist stance, as well as its support for programs that included the promotion of things such as contraception among economically marginalized communities.
Since that time, I think there was some effort in certain quarters to clean up CHD. The term "Catholic" in use in your vicinity may reflect this effort. The bishops understood that CHD could lose its base of financial support unless they got the program turned around, and some bishops seem to have undertaken some efforts in that direction. However, I have never felt right about supporting CHD, despite those efforts, as it still seemed much more like a socialist agenda than a Catholic apostolate.
