Come on, let’s be fair. The concerns and controversy about John Yoo are one thing, but they don’t have anything to do with Jim Ho, from what I can tell.

It’s already a matter of public record that he didn’t have anything to do with the controversial memos – and indeed, he has made clear he disagrees with them. They did a whole thing about this that's worth reading - they initially thought there was something here too, but turned out that Ho's position was ultimately the same one shared by Senator Leahy and the NYTimes.

It’s also worth noting that Jim appears to have taken heat from the right for legal positions he’s taken. See: http://www.gibsondunn.com/ Public...ngAmerican.aspx. Seems to me that he is just doing his job as a lawyer advising clients – whatever we may think of some of his former colleagues. This seems a lot like guilt by association + acting as if Asians think alike – I don’t think any of that is worthy of discussion.
