Got a robocall yesterday urging contact with legislature about GHPerry's attempt to slam through that toll road bill. Is this to worry about? The Statesman doesn't seem to think so. Out here in the boonies, and largely taken up with concerns about Iran, healthcare, I'd forgotten all about Perry's folly. Wasn't that a dead issue?

Boondocks? BOONDOCKS? We are sophisticated, informed, and liberal, albeit a tad warm and dry. G.Keller's email today describes the Dem float at the 7/4 parade and the (speaking of warm) great reception it got -- cheers and applause. One guy yelled an insult about Obama and got shushed up. Progress!
