While I'd hoped my MacTips site with its archive of Tips and the Learning Centre would make your list, I'm really writing to say Thank You so much for the link to the WebServerX Kit.

My hard drive died last week and I'm setting up a fresh clean new one. Yesterday I installed MySQL and promptly managed to really mess it up during the install. I've been beating my head against every brick wall and the various solutions I've found didn't solve my problem.

I just downloaded the Kit and installed and all is fixed! Now, finally I can get on with the work I should have been doing for the last few hours ....

Thanks much for these pointers, Derek. I've recently started a job that involves a lot more Mac tube time than I'm used to, so I do appreciate stuff that'll help me better use these machines.
