Hi Derek:
This is my second try.
As the producer of Studio Zero, I personally want to thank you and the creative commons community as a whole.
We wouldn't have been able to do the program without the incredible you've made available to the world.
Your comments about us make me feel stodgy and old and I 'm one of the young ones in the building.
Studio Zero has a sequel.
We record a new show on the sidewalks of Hamilton and Georgia on Monday, Aug. 29. You're welcome to come by and say hello. Ask for JJ.
Here are the confirmed acts
11 am
Veda Hille (local, and perennial CBC fave)
Andre Chrys (roots rock singer-songwriter, performing for his
favorite public broadcaster :)
Ken Beattie (front man for Radiogram, also with Killbeat Records
(big kudos go to him, he donated about 40 cd's of bands he
manages, complete with permission fromt he artists, to our
podcasts)
Steve Elliott and Lucie Walker (they play something they call
"Rockincountryblues" VERY infectious!)
12 noon
Bocephus King (aka Jamie Perry) alt.country, featured on the
cover of the Georgia Stright recently
Octoberman (local up and comer)
Ralph Shaw, King of the Ukelele (Laura Palmer swears by him)
And OF COURSE...Philip Ditchburn, performing the CBC Blues
We are also hoping that Jim Byrnes may perform for us. He's
committed to coming by to support us, at any rate, it's a question
of whether he'll be able to play.
We also have comedy at 1:30 featuring Ali and Ali, and Richard
Said, courtesy of Kathleen Flaherty.
As well...the BC Union of Performers will send a contingent on
Monday as well as their appearance today.

Thanks, JJ. I'm looking forward to the next Studio Zero podcast, and I'll definitely do my best to drop by.
