Well that's a neat story.
I'm reminded of the Yorkshire saying,
"Where there's muck, there's brass"

You need to say it in a Yorkshire accent, scowl knowingly and wear a flat cap

It's in the bag, baby. Out with the old, in with the new. I'd say you "earned" it. Pee-yew!

drD- Interesting. That saying reminds me of something I read in Steven Johnson's book "The Ghost Map."
http://www.theghostmap.com/
In the nineteenth century some people made money by being pure-finders (collecting dog poop for sale to tanners), night-soil men (removing human waste from overflowing cesspools with buckets), and sewer-hunters (going into sewers scavenging for things to sell). Where there's muck there's money, indeed.
Martha and BW- Where there's muck there are jokes, too. It's human nature.

I would say you were one lucky lady. You just proved that money can truly be filthy lucre.
I have seen comments you made on Rain's blog and when I discovered our mutual love of Johnny Mercer and Margaret Whiting singing 'Baby It's Cold Outside' I decided it was time to pop in. I'm glad I did.
