Ow, that sounds painful. How can things go wrong with an achilles tendon op? Hope you're managing OK wihout Mr LaP, and hope your FiL is fully mobile again soon.

Have Mr laP back for awhile but he will head back in a couple of days. The operation was fine it was the problems afterwards with pain and medication prescribed. My father-in-law is very sensitive to pain meds and they are knocking him for a loop.
( I know I am being vague but I am also trying to say as little as I can.)
