REBT qualified practitioners would give you a two hour lecture on how that isn't true...
CBT (certainly as it is now doled-out by inexperienced and underqualified and unregulated practitioners over here) is a very long way from Ellis' core principles.
(that said, I haven't watched the video clip, so I may have missed the point entirely!)

In my defense I do believe that every idea evolves from other ideas- no idea is an island. And you are right, the link and the video are the point on this post. Sometimes my humor is just too subtle for my own good.
