Santiago Dreaming

Gravatar Hi Stranger,
I could'nt stop laughing when I read this. It just sounds like Ian. If we ever go to a T.V shop he's always going on about the difference in the picture. I don't suppose it will be long before he gets one.
Happy watching.

Gravatar I'm sure that HD will make people even lazier than they already are.

I hate TV.

Gravatar Joanne- Hi stranger, yourself. Ian is right the difference is amazing and I am enjoying it.

BW- Television is like any other media in that you have to separate the wheat from the chaff if you partake. The problem is the majority of people cannot tell the difference between the two.

Gravatar Escaping from one rectangle into another. Or maybe I should say one rectangle forced you into the other. You poor happy, lost souls.

Maybe you could become HDTV quality assurance testers. Kind of like Lil' Abner sleeping in beds?

Gravatar We have become something like HDTV testers. We have an older acquaintance who is sight impaired. Yesterday he came over to take a look at the quality of the image on our monitor to see if his viewing experience would improve with HDTV.

We put it on the Weather Channel and he marveled at the fact he could now see the lines making up the state borders on the map and read the names of the cities. With regular TV he can tell there are city names on the map but cannot read them. He is switching to HDTV.
