I didn't even know that Delta had eaten PanAm (though I did know they were no longer with us).

I flew Delta to Atlanta once on business. I have to say the staff were OK...not up to Singapore Airlines standard certainly but neither were they as bad as BA.

Nic, you are one of the lucky ones. There are quite a few websites dedicated to complaints about Northwest. Northwest is known for rigidly sticking to "the rules" and not allowing employees to deviate from them, even in situations where they really don't apply.

Carrie, I am so sorry to read that. The rise in fuel prices is going to kill a lot of the smaller airlines.
