Spring is almost upon us!
It's 5pm and still very light here (and it's light by 7am now). Daffodils are out. We're starting to plant seeds... it's getting there!
Don't know what you want pain medication for, but if it's in particular areas, have you heard about mini-TENS machines? They're available over here for about GBP15 ($30) now and work wonderfully I have found. I have two which I sometimes use concurrently....
donna- I know but some days Spring is farther away than others. 
BW- Need it for my feet sometimes and worry about how it impacts my body. That machine sounds interesting. I saw a news segment about something like this over here. I see if I can find one like it here. Thanks for the info.
Colleen, why not do a blog post on that machine? I've never heard of it.
It would be great for feet, and there are no negative side effects (according to my own net research and my neurologist and GP).
They won't ship outside the UK, but, if you can't find something similar where you are, I could always order one and send it on to you (they did have them in their local chemist stores, but they don't seem to at present, although I think they're still available from the internet).
BW, that is so nice of you to offer to order one for me. Thank you very much. I have found them online here in the states. Can only get them with a doctors prescription here but that would be not be a problem.
Right now I am doing Epsom salts soaks and that seems to be helping. If I soak my feet once every other day that keeps them pain free for that time period. Until you mentioned TENS, and I started thinking about other ways to deal with the pain, I had forgotten that Epsom salts had worked for me before so I started doing soaks again.
I will definitely keep TENS in the back of my mind for if or when Epsom salts stop working. If you had not mentioned it I would not have know about it at all. It is always helpful to know about alternative treatments for any medical problems since I find that Doctors are not usually good about giving you any alternatives to standard treatments. The more I know the better. Thanks again.
