Tina has probably forgiven. But you're right, she owed him nothing more.

I've forgiven people who have hurt me (never physically, since I would never be with anyone capable of that), and there is nothing more that I expect from them or that they should expect from me. Would it be nice to talk to them again? Sure -- but the trust I had in them would never be there again, that's for sure.

The love I have for them never went away, though.

That is beautiful, donna. I think love can be beaten out of a person and that can be hard to forgive. Not everyone should or can be forgiven but I do believe that just letting go of the past can bring you peace.
