I really hate politics. I hate them to the point that election years are the worst ones and I would love to see them canceled all together... this is such a problem for me, it is the year leading up to my 42nd and I'm supposed to be reveling in it. I try to ignore it, but it's not a possiblity. Damn.

SA- True, this is definitely not aimed at you. I am talking about the presidential race and I can't imagine how bad it is going to get after the conventions and it is down to two candidates.

I am hoping that it will calm down a bit. I am hoping it is mainly Hillary (and Obama somewhat) being unsportsmanlike, somehow I don't think it will, but one can just hope.

I think right now, Hillary is running the same kind of campaign that we're going to see out of McCain in the fall. Assuming, that is, that he is permitted by the Constitution to BE president -- he was born in Panama. And also assuming that is hasn't already broken the campaign finance laws that he wrote.
Sigh. This is why I focus on my local candidate.

Like I said, I hate politics. I just wish they would put the pay for every politician to minimum wage and require them to wear orange live every dishonest criminal.
Nothing about your local candidate.

Well, ladies, no matter how we feel about it all today is a big day in the democratic primaries. What I don't understand is why they are saying the Texas race is already decided. I've reached the point where I don't make it past the teaser on the news shows to find out how this can be true.

Very true. I run like... well, you know, with the TV remote to find something else to watch.
