Speak out. Let your representatives know how you feel. Vote.
It amazes me how many people let their right to vote fall by the wayside. It is your most important right as a citizen of a democratic country. As a character in the movie All The King's Men said, "If you don't vote, you don't matter!"
The thing is though, they're all as bad as each other!
I can't imagine not voting (the suffragettes worked too hard for our right as women to do that over here). But, I wish I thought it would make a difference.
I know, I sometimes feel the same way. Unless everyone who has the right to vote does so nothing will change. People do not seem to realize there are more of them (the apathetic) than there are of the "only we know what is good for our country" guys.
