Wow, I never thought of discontentment like that. Carnel discontentment is bad, but spiritual discontement is good because it leads to Heaven on Earth. That makes sense to me if I think of it as a deep hunger for God and always wanting more and more of Him. I have that disease and I'm glad because that hasn't always been so. I believe God drew me into this. I can't believe that one day I woke up and decided to get closer to God. I think he drew me and I responded in baby steps of devotion until He guided me into the fullness of Christ. Yes, spiritual discontentment is a very good thing.

I agree; spiritual discontentment is a beneficial thing. What a state we would be in if the Lord allowed us to remain content with our sin!
