I support the right of the GOP to exist, so why not the ACLU? You gotta admit, all that talk about civil liberties and due process is appealing. That means that they often defend bad people. Bad people have rights too, which is how good people can be certain they also have rights. Following the logic of apologizing to victims, that would mean that Bush should apologize to Cindy Sheehan, correct? Or at least meet her, since, I am guessing, you may think he has nothing to apologize for.
I'll not welcome the molester, thank you, but I'll use all legal means to run him out of town.

Chris, I don't know if you are a Christian, but each of these goals would come to pass if we were all better followers of Jesus Christ.
Can you provide the link on Keller being a Communist? Or is that something Hollywood buried so deep that there's no trace?
A brief history of the ACLU.
The ACLU was co-founded in 1920 by over 60 people. Which included
Roger Baldwin. A card carrying avowed Communist who stated, and I quote, "I am for socialism, disarmament, and, ultimately, for abolishing the state itself... I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."
Crystal Eastman. A socialist who supported the I.W.W.(International Workers of the World), which had close ties to the Communist party.
Helen Keller. The blind/deaf girl. Who happened to be a Communist. Thank you Hollywood for covering that little fact up.
Jane Addam. A socialist who was also the founder of the NAACP.
Harry Ward. Committed Communist who wrote "Soviet Democracy" and "Soviet Spirit".
Founded by Socialist, run by Socialists. So if you think the ACLU is looking out for the common man, rather than their own warped view of America, you're sadly mistaken.
