I wonder what they said to the Christians who refused to worship Caesar. Obviously, the fact of Caesar's rule is proof that God wanted him there, therefore most early Christian martyrs should have their sainthood revoked for failing to obey the government. According to Paul, anyway.
OH! And all that stuff about this nation being founded as a Christian nation? How can a Christian nation be founded through violent revolution, when the Bible so obviously tells us that revolution against the existing government is wrong?
I'm so confused.

I'm guessing that Moses should have stopped at the Red sea and given in to Pharoh then... This is ignorace of the first, second, and third order.

And isn't this the same thing as saying Democracy itself is anti-Christian?

Why am I reminded of the bumpersticker that plainly states the truth:
RELIGION IS WHAT KEEPS THE POOR FROM KILLING THE RICH.

Religion is the opiate of the masses.
Or is it opium that is the opiate of the masses?

Speaking of Elitism, here is one of my favorite quotes.
All elites get on top in different ways - but they try to keep their descendants on top the same ways. I would argue, as a radical, that a class system based on clever computer geekdom is no more a meritocracy than the one
based on being real good at riding on a horse chopping other people's heads
off, the origin of Europe's lords, because after the first generation it always is about training your kids to trigger subservience in the masses. You know, "leadership."
