I'm a sucker for all things Google. But I'm liking the Reader and finding the interface useful. From the Reader home, I get a list of posts (sorted by an internal relevance formula) that gets me reading a variety of blog posts that I normally wouldn't necessarily read. Things are floating up that I may never had seen at Bloglines. I like tagging (labels) for categorizing my content.
But it is dreadfully slow, even over the 1GB connection at the U of M.

I tried Google Reader out for about five minutes and didn't like it. I'm not sure why. (I didn't use it long enough to formulate a reason why.) I just looked at it and said "I don't like it." On another note, they own Blogger; why didn't they role this service into Blogger? Then blogger.com would be a one stop shop for reading and writing blogs.
