Of course MPL web access is free. But the Civic Garden is free Internet with limited access. Not all the links within the Civic Garden work at this time and one of those links is for the Minneapolis Library. If you want to test this, you have to log-in via one US Internet's wireless nodes and then find the link.

Connecting to the library's website is 100% free, as it should be. Wireless internet at the libraries is also free. Were you entering the wrong URL? It's www.mplib.org

I agree with you. The library is one of our greatest resources!
