I would like someone in the justice system to describe the circumstances under which a policemen who kills an innocent person in the course of his duties will have committed a criminal offense.
Or can the police kill anyone, at any time and never break the law by so doing?
You know, just an outline of a scenario where the police would have broken the law. So that we all know where we stand.

Phillip,
As before, you've said it far better than I did - and at rather less length!

(first part).
Yes, it reminded me of that sketch as well - one of the sharpest political satires of my lifetime.

Shorter this post: "the courts are vital and excellent upholders of the rule of law against Evil Government Tyranny. Unless they reach verdicts I disagree with, in which case they're biased".

Very well done. All it would need is a bit of nameplay - “consider the testimony of officer C3PO” etc.
"Yes, it reminded me of that sketch as well - one of the sharpest political satires of my lifetime."
And he was still finishing it just before he walked onto the stage.
Ahhh, what a guy.

Perhaps if they shot a Member of Parliament?
Only if they sit on the government's side of the House and the Chief Whip vouchsafes them.
