its downright unfair to Drae (and Reymond). PI is ruining the franchise. It won't really level the playing field.

Two-hour voting was the great equalizer. But unfortunately, the ultimate casualty of this method was Arms. Within Metro Manila, it's easy for a contestant's supporters to buy prepaid cards on Sunday midnight. But in Zamboanga, was it just as accessible? I rejoice that Jeli is finally gone, but am saddened by Arms' leaving. Win some, lose some.

The intention of implementing the AI voting system to PI is good & noble... but the results was a BIG DISASTER... I really pity ARMS who was removed from PI.... she's the ONLY legit singer in PI... and I believe Mr. C's heart is shattered & he's super frustrated right now.... It seems he as a judge, as a credible expert & one of the music industry's pillars have no influence over Filipino voters... and it would be a SHAME to continue using the term PHILIPPINE IDOL because clearly, the winner is not the Filipino masses' choice, but the choice of the privileged few who can splurge huge amounts of money for text & calls....

Too bad, im such a fan of Philippine Idol pero ang gulo nyo talaga. Lagi pabago bago. Dapat talaga pinag isipan muna mabuti bago nagstart yung show. Nakaka dismaya kasi. Parang di na naging fair labanan sa lahat ng top 12. Dahil sa pabago bago ng rules, esp. in the middle of the contest. Not fair for those voted off early. Sayang naman si Arms, ang galing pamandin nya...huhu..She's better than the other contestants left...

It's the first season of Philippine Idol, and we're seeing tons of birth pains and hiccups that come with the territory. Similar situations also happened in other countries that launched Idol franchises for the first time, so I wouldn't be too upset.
Yes, I know it's unfair to Rey, Drae, and Stef, but I know that their caliber will result in good careers, one way or the other. (Let's call a spade a spade: how many people are watching this show enough to really be upset with their ouster? Believe you me, if these three play their cards right, they'll have good careers, regardless.) Right now, if we're thinking for the good of the show, then these changes for the better should be made sooner, not later, for the betterment of the show. It's sad but that's the reality, and I'm just grateful they've changed the system, even if it is in the middle of the season.
Next year's season - assuming there will be one - should be better, assuming ABC-5 learns from its slip-ups.

yes I really do hope that the great singers voted off early like Drae, Rey, and Arms will have great careers. They deserve it for sure. Can i make a request again if they (eliminated candidates) can be featured here? THANKS!!!!
