The intention of implementing the AI voting system to PI is good & noble... but the results is a BIG DISASTER.
I really pity ARMS who was removed from PI.... she's the ONLY legit singer in PI... and I believe Mr. C's heart is shattered & he's super frustrated right now.... It seems that he as a judge, as a credible expert & one of the music industry's pillars have no influence over Filipino voters...
And it would be a SHAME to continue using the term PHILIPPINE IDOL because clearly, the winner is not the Filipino masses' choice, but the choice of the privileged few who can splurge huge amounts of money for text & calls.... 
yeah, i believe it's not yet Arm's time to leave Philippine Idol. She's better than the other contestants!
Hindi pa rin accurate yung 2-hour voting system last sunday kasi last week hanggang 8:30 ang botohan. eh di ba combination nung dalawa yung scores nila? Hay naku! Kailan kaya matatanggal sina Ken, Jan at Miguel. Buti na lang umalis na si Jeli pero mas maganda sana kung si Jan ang nauna. hmp! Ang pangit talaga kasi ng boses ni Jan. Parang ngongo! Tapos yung 'Kailangan Kita' niya is a total disaster!
Ano ba nakita nila kay Jan at pinasok nila 'yan sa Top 24?
I can't say I will miss Arms kasi matagal na akong nagsawa sa garalgal niya. When she did "If I Believe" she only proved to me na one trick pony siya, kapag di siya makagaralgal ay boring na siya. Still, I can think of a few others who deserve to leave ahead of her...I'm sure avid PI viewers know who I'm talking about. Mula nung disastrous pinoy band week eh talagang wala na akong ganang manuod. And Im not even in Pinas! Di ko na inaabangan ang mga youtube vids tulad dati...kasi I do believe na natanggal na iyong mga talagang may K matawag na "Idol".
Hi there, Idolsource! First time commenting. I'm pleasantly surprised by the discussion going on each ep. I'm sure the show's producers appreciate that people are invested in the show (even though they claim that the system's faulty, their bets are gone, rich vs poor...) rather than ignore it completely.
Other shows don't get this level of debate and discussion.
Everyone, I'd like to remind everybody that - as shocked as I am that Arms was eliminated - this two-hour voting period is actually quite accurate. Remember that votes from the show two weeks ago - the one that still implemented the 24-hour voting period - were tallied with this one.
Next week's show stands to be even more accurate. You'll notice that Gian and Mau, two candidates who were perenial bottom-three finalists, were not bottom-three this time around.
I believe that the new voting window is a stand-up way of boosting the accuracy of Philippine Idol votes. It tends to favor candidates with massive fan bases, not necessarily candidates with tons of money.

Two-hour voting was the great equalizer. But unfortunately, the ultimate casualty of this method was Arms. Within Metro Manila, it's easy for a contestant's supporters to buy prepaid cards on Sunday midnight. But in Zamboanga, are these outlets just as accessible? During the two-hour voting, the Idol cellphone network would have been jammed, and I surmise that if some votes weren't getting through, it would've been those from Mindanao. The 2-hour method worked great for the Metro Manila contestants, but alas for Arms, she was the (unintentional) sacrificial lamb for this necessary improvement in the PI voting system.
Bilib talaga ako sa mga voters ni Ken, cguro galit sa kanya ang mga kamag anak nya kaya sya binoboto, Ken gustoi kang pahiyain ng mga voters mo!
Hindi ako kunbinsido sa resulta kagabi dapat si ken at jan ang nawala. Sana naman matuto ang mga voters kung sino dapat ang maging legitimate Philippine idol. Nalulungkot din ako para kina drae at reymond.
Theme next week will be DANCE MUSIC,FYI.
Dance music? Scary. It won't be easy holding a tune while hopping around the stage. Next week will be painful to listen to. My prediction? Flats and sharps will rule this theme -- especially since Ken and Jan are still there. My ears hurt already just thinking about it.
Dance tunes? Hwah, I sense a trainwreck coming! I wish the judges would go into nasty mode again, para fun! Who's the judge kaya? Sana malupet (He he he).

Pilipinas to! Puno tayo ng mga mahuhusay na singer. And Ken's presence in the competition is a big joke.
Sana kantahin ni Mau sa Dance week yung kanta ni Donna Summer na may lyrics na "enough is enough, is enough i can't go on, i can't go on no more no..." (No More Tears).

haaay. i wasn't expecting arms to be eliminated as early as now. dapat yung iba muna bago siya. ow well.
my gosh! i can't believe mr. c's comments about ken. apparently, iba ang naririnig ng mga TV viewers. hmmm...i think the judges should put on their headphones para marinig talaga nila ang naririnig ng wala sa idol stage. gosh wala na si arms. nakakawalang gana lalo manood! iba talaga ang nagagawa ng pera, isipin mo kahit unworthy na nasa idol pa rin.
