Mau certainly did shine, but I fully agree with Pilita - ohmigosh, did I just say that?! - that her version of "And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going)" was not the best version possible.
Having watched Jennifer Holliday's Tony Awards version on YouTube and listened to the pre-release of Jennifer Hudson's "Dreamgirls" version (click on the "Homepage" link beside my name to visit my website and listen to JHud's version), you can see how far Mau has to go in terms of fully reaching that diva status that was required from the second song.
I think, though, her "Diamonds Are Forever" was spectacular (I gave her a standing ovation in my home), and agree that she was the best of the night.

Gian and Mau were the best last night, Gian leading Mau by a hairline in my scoresheet. Pow was 3rd. I expect enlightened voters to vote out Miguel and Jan soon. Miguel really is out of place and Jan, although has shown improvements, is a far 4th placer. Lea was a good judge, starting out strong but softening up a bit as the show progressed. I loved how she went to Pow's defense about that dress issue. It's about time we accept people for what they are. Real idols are not made; they just come and shine and are loved as they are!
