all i can say to the result... to the "patterened" result is this: wtf!
i hate last night's result!! super! coz she's my one and only bet in the competition and now she's out.. i wanna ask if it's true that abs-cbn has made plans of taking her as their talent after her contract with philippine idol expires?? coz that's wat circulatin in the pex forum..
I am very shocked and surprised unpleasantly with this result. Her Miss Saigon performance was ON! I do hope for bigger things for this talented performer!
*sniff sniff* last night wasn't her night to be eliminated. i was as shocked as everyone else when ryan called out her name. waaaaah. broadway night was the best night and i didn't like the results of the competition.
i'm sure pow will make it big in the music industry.

wala nang pinagkaiba tayong mga pinoy sa mga kano...mga wala tayong taste sa pagboto...look what happened before at the american idol 5...mas pinili nila mag stay ng matagal si chicken little (Kevin Covais)kesa kay Melissa McGhee..ganyan ang naging sitwasyon ni POW...but dont wori POW we wil still support you...para sa amin nila KRIS AQUINO, MR. C and the rest of the idol fanatics you are still our Philippine Idol.

it is a terrible thing to happen. i kinda knew that she would be axed after ken just by looking at their poster. pow was all alone while the other four were in a group at the other end of the poster; which could also mean that miguel will be eliminated next then jan. how happy PI fanatics will be if Gian and Mau make it to the Finals.
i am glad that at least i was able to watch POW sing live last Sunday and had a picture taken with her after the show.

I'm not going to watch Philippine Idol because of this atrocity. Clearly, it is not about talent anymore.

The latest voting results seem to indicate the following:
1. With Gian and Mau ahead of Jan and Miguel, we can say that voters DO vote wisely, and if more and more people continue to vote wisely, matatalo ang so-called "mga mayayamang finalists na ginagastusan ang sarili nila para lamang manalo kahit hindi naman sila karapat-dapat". And if this trend continues, it would augur well for all of us who want ONLY the best to win the title.
2. Voters DO listen to a credible judge who does his/her job well. When Mo Twister asked for the ouster of Ken, voters listened to him and Ken was booted out. When Lea Salonga said she thought Gian and Mau were the best last Sunday, voters gave the two finalists their vote of confidence. Voters expect much from the judges. Pag magaling magbigay ng critique ang isang judge, makikinig ang mga viewers. It is easy to spot a judge who does not do justice to his/her role. Ang viewers would tend to disregard his/her comments.
3. Pow was a sacrificial lamb. Nagigising na nga ang mga tao to vote wisely, pero marami pa ring nagkakamali sa pagboto. Pow is a reminder for all of us that we should continue to work for truth and justice in an imperfect world such as this.
Based on the performances, it shouldn't have been Pow's turn to be booted off yet. Kung sa pagalingan lang, Miguel was the most wanting in terms of vocal talent. Pero okay na rin, it would have been a lot more outrageous had it been Mau or Gian who got the boot. Am hoping that the winner is someone we can be proud to hail as a "Philippine Idol".
NAOMI: you are right by saying na hindi nagkamali si POW...and that is true! ang pagkakapareho lang nila ni McGhee mas mayayaman ang mga naging kalaban nila... :-s
Miguel doesn't deserve to be at the Final 4!!!!!
This Philippine Idol thing is all about money contest and not a talent contest!!!
Yes Pau is now out but meron pa ring natitirang talent. we stil have Mau and Gian to vote for. So let's watch and vote for these two.
you guys can say whatever you want. pera na kung pera. but the fact of the matter is, miguel is still there. and at the end of the day, that's what matters. so people can b*tch about it all they want, but miguel and his followers are laughing in your faces.
