If he wins, The Filipino can stand proud. He is a diamond on the rough and he will improve to an even amazing degree once Asian idol competition comes around. He is unstoppable. And he is a truly good-looking Pinoy. I really enjoy the way he sings. You should try to dowload his Mp3 in IPO and he really stands out!
My British, Cantonese, korean and Russian friends think Jan looks great and indeed repressents the great Filipino hunk. He deserves to be the first Philippine idol! His voice is soothing and constantly transforming in the songs that he sings. This is the true Philippien Idol. If Gian wins it just shows the connection that he has made with other people in the shopwbiz. let's btring in a new talent. A great perfromer who was ver afraid to experiment and make a good impression. He made Philippien idol really fun!

Last night was the most irritiating Philippine Idol episode I have ever seen! It is even more irritating since I was there to see it live at the Araneta. The judges' bias was so obvious! Their judges' choice songs were awful and unfair (the boys get European songs, while Mau gets a local vaudeville song). The judges played their last card last night. Where Ryan clearly is for Mau. Francis for Gian and Mamita for Jan.
Their last card is to somehow put Mau into an underdog position. That's what they are pointing out in the first two rounds. Mahilig ang Pilipino sa underdog. That's why Jan gets good reviews. Reverse psych kumbaga.
Then, in the end, they know that Mau would stand out, the song "On My Own" suited her and there's no way that it won't make her win.
The right to be the last one performing added to the hype. She proved herself there.
One thing is true: The night ended with Mau, and Mau ended the night strongly. She's the Philippine Idol.

Im here in Jakarta and full blown na ang ads for Asian Idol. It will start in December kase from among 4 indonesian idols nag compete again who will represent Indonesia. Pero wala ni isa sa apat ang katatakutan ni Mau. Based on the videos that i've seen through youtube, Jac of Malaysia is the toughest contender. Pero birit lng style nyon, although hindi kaya ni Mau ang range non, tutumbahin c Jac ni Mau through soulful and expression of the songs.
