You know, I would never look to my governor for leadership during a disaster. Some people are followers, some are leaders. Some need to be told what to think, other's think for themselves.

More and more people would not know what to do if 'real life' came up and said, "hello", and that's the scary thing.

Yes, and I wonder what sort of connection there is between the fact that so many feel lost without their leaders and the fact that those leaders have been in the business of educating their followers.

And those of us who talk like this are frequently accused of being anti-government -- like it's a bad thing.

Gravatar Gee, wonder how people survived back in the days when nobody was reachable immediately?

Gravatar Well, Dave, to listen to these people you'd think they didn't really survive at all, or just barely so. This must be why people who oppose their economic (and other!) policies are accused of wanting to take us "back" to those stone-age times.
