Yes, and I wonder what sort of connection there is between the fact that so many feel lost without their leaders and the fact that those leaders have been in the business of educating their followers.
And those of us who talk like this are frequently accused of being anti-government -- like it's a bad thing.
Gee, wonder how people survived back in the days when nobody was reachable immediately?
Well, Dave, to listen to these people you'd think they didn't really survive at all, or just barely so. This must be why people who oppose their economic (and other!) policies are accused of wanting to take us "back" to those stone-age times.
