Never a Dull Moment

Gravatar You are so right! Not enough services, not enough money, and too much lingering stigma.

Gravatar That is so true. We all go around thinking it can't happen to us, but it's happening to people who said the same thing, isn't it? We are not safe; not the way safety used to exist anyway. There are a lot more troubled people out there and there's a whole lot more evil influence prevalent in society. When I see what's on television and what people think is entertainment these days, I feel old...and unsafe. I think when I get to be really old, someone's just going to say, "Eh, we don't need to keep her around wasting our money in this nursing home (I have a history of longevity on my mom's side so I'll probably be on my own --no kids, husband gone.) I'm sure they'll be willing and lawfully able to pull the plug. Sorry, I totally got off-topic there, but evil reigns in many forms. Look out for me if you're still around. Okay?

Gravatar And it doesn't help that my niece's high school in Phoenix was on lockdown this morning due to a reported gunman in the school. Luckily she's safe, so is everyone else - not sure if it was a prank - but I've had quite enough of this.

Gravatar I personally think the services are so limited for people that need the help. He obviously needed help.
What I also find interesting is that in a study that I was looking at, that some mental illness was a cause of an allergic reaction that went on for years. It took everything and made it flip flop. Also diet was another componant they were studying. Worth looking into...just my thoughts.

Gravatar Too true. And, scary as hell.

Gravatar I'm tired of the unsocial or just socially inept blaming others for their inadequacies & then deciding they want to "go out in style".
Like you I also believe it's mental illness, but some of those cases are just deprived, bad and crappy people.
