This should come as no great surprise to most rational-thinking gays who are aware of some of the more horrific teachings of Islam.

There are no doubt some moderate Muslims but (unlike liberal Christians) they seem reluctant to speak our publicly against those hard-liners who head their institutions

I wonder how Ken Livinstone will react to the poll. He has been cosying up to both gays and Muslims ever since he became mayor of London. He notoriously welcomed that ghastly Islamic homophobe, Yusuf Quaradwi, to City Hall and took no notice of the welter of protest that followed.

The imam of Manchester recently advocated killing gays to maintain the moral purity of society. I didn't hear a word of protest from the Left.
