Gravatar You're right, that is the best valetines gift EVER!! You lucky lucky woman.

Gravatar Congratulations! It sounds like your Hubby has finally gotten round and seen what YOU think is best and what YOU think is of value.

Often, it only takes time but loved ones do come around.

Indeed, you are very lucky!

Gravatar I'm so glad you finally get someone to help around! Now THAT is true care and affection. What an excellent Valentine's present! cheers.

Gravatar Your house is 6200 square feet? Where is MY room?

Gravatar I think I know why I'm not married now. I would have ordered me up a cleaning service whether he liked it or not....lol

Gravatar Ooooh, please let him teach classes to other hubbies! Mine will be sitting in the front row taking notes! A splendid V-Day gift, Absolutely devine and inspired!

Oh, I am so jealous.....

Gravatar Loves shines through and prevails----he saw the light. It was time but your patience, love, beauty, kind and caring ways won out at last. What a wonderful Valentine's gift...one you will most enjoy and appreciate for a very long time.

Gravatar AWW!! That is so sweet What a thoughtful, personal present- those are the best!

Gravatar oooohhhh1 That's awesome! I would even settle for someone just to do my ironing!! Lucky you! -particular poppy

Gravatar Why thanks Pink Poppy....
I wish my husband would care about helping or we had the ability to pay for help. Go for it! You lucky Poppy!

Gravatar *ahhhh* (that's a sigh of relief) what a WONDERFUL gift. My house is so tiny right now I couldn't imagine having a cleaning service in, but 6200+sq.ft.!!! I couldn't imagine NOT having a cleaning service. I can't believe you've even managed to keep it up THIS long. What a sweet hubby, even if he didn't realize it

Gravatar Now THAT is a fabulous Valentine's gift!

Gravatar You are a saint. If I had 6200 sq ft to clean, there would have been a cleaning service husband or no husband. Fortunately, my husband is always the one making ME get the service. I've had a few brain blips where I thought I really could clean the house on my own . . .mmm, not really. And mine's about half the size.

But, I give your husband lots and lots of credit for recognizing that this would be something that was a truly wonderful gift, perhaps for both of you!

Now you just have to work on that babysitting thing. We have a sitter once per week, and without our regular "dates" I can't imagine the state our relationship would be in.

Gravatar Oh now THAT is very very sweet!

Gravatar Ohhhh, lucky you, I just love cleaning especially if someone else does it. Fawn over it and brag about it, in front of him, and you will puff him up so much that he will want to do it again.

Gravatar I'm so glad Hubby got the right spirit for Valentine's Day - yay!

Gravatar That's an awesome gift! A bit belated but happy VDay anyway!

Gravatar awesome, Awesome, AWESOME!

That gift rules.

Now I'd love to hear what you got for Hubby....

Gravatar When you first mentioned in passing that you do your housework I was momentarily stunned into silence (a difficult feat for me). Why? I wondered. There is NOTHING wrong with doing housework and I would NEVER imply that there was. BUT...yes, big BUT if someone does not enjoy housework and they have the mean to hire somoen else to do it, then it makes sense to hire someone. After all that SOMEONE wants the job.

More to come...

Gravatar More!

I will admit that there are a few house-tending things I actually enjoy. BUT I only have a 1200 square foot apartment and I have a weekly cleaning service. And soon I will have a house that is somewhat larger than that (you have seen pictures) and there is no way in HECK I would clean it myself.

So, this is a very good thing this gift. And although NOT Southern it does make my dear Southern friend happy...so this is good,

Gravatar That is WONDERFUL! I agree - I'll take a cleaning service over a box of chocolates or dozen roses any day!

Gravatar Finally he came around. I wonder what brought it on? Oh well.....don't worry about that...just take the cleaning...

HEY! Can I be Sassy Poppy?????

later

Sass

Gravatar Oh, Pink Poppy, how wonderful that Hubby realized that this was something that he could give you that would make both of your lives happier. Hooray!

Gravatar That is so thoughtful of your hubby. See, they come around!

I got here through Cyndy's. How do I know what kind of Poppy I am? Do I put people to sleep like the poppies on The Wizard of Oz?

Gravatar That's an incredible gift -- both just because it's an AWESOME GIFT TO HAVE but also just that your hubby did it! Woo hoo!

p.s. I'm sorry I've been silent lately -- I haven't been able to visit a number of my favorite sites for over a WEEK! I'm back now!

Gravatar Awwww - what a fantastic gift! I'm envious - believe that! lol.....hugs hon, Nikki

Gravatar Ooooh girlfriend I am so envious.

Gravatar I would definitely agree. What mom and wife would see this any different. A lot of times, those of us who don't have those services, have to do all the work before we can even enjoy our valentine celebration or any celebration for that matter. So, I agree that's a great and intuitive gift to give so you could be freed up to enjoy your day with him!

Gravatar Just ckin' in - hugs, Peach Poppy

Gravatar That is the most awesomely romantic and thoughtful gift I've heard of in a good long time: it's something you truly wanted, truly needed, and it will also give you more time to do other things you love.

Gravatar Great Blog, if you are a romantic woman would like to get the Christmas gift for your man or boy friend, you can consider leather wallet. he will love it.....
