I did some secret shopping a few years back. Got some great meals out of it but the secret screener thing sounds more like my kind of deal. 
I am saved from my three day weekend. Monday is being used to make up for a snow day. Kids are bummed but not me!
When I was a child, I couldn't understand why my mother made me pick up before our maid came. Wasn't that what we hired her to do? Now that I'm paying a cleaning service every other week, I completely understand; I want them to do the scrubbing, not the tidying. Perhaps I should apologize to Mom.
Me? I've been making marmalade. Mmmmm...
I've never understood that picking up before the maid came, now I understand. Someone to do the scrubbing. Nice. It's been nice being in a hotel and having somebody come and change the sheets everyday and put out fresh towels - and make things nice and shiney and vacuumed. I could get used to this. Too bad it will take awhile before we can actually afford it without having to cut another part of the budget majorly.

Good luck with the secret shopper --I knew someone who did it and she seemed to enjoy it. She never made any money just enjoyed it and from time to time would go someplace nice. This week has been a hohum week for me nothing much going on missed you around here hope things settle down for you and you are back with us because you are missed.

I'll be interested to see how that Mystery shopping works out. I had a friend who did a few movie ones - she had to go see the same movie over and over. But I've heard about the shopping one recently and that doesn't sound like too bad of a deal .It's good you know when blogging will be a hindrance more than a help and can handle that balance with ease. Just for the record mom... I keep all of my toys in my playroom... 
I am inspired!! I've been depressed about having to give up work to stay home with the kids (Too expensive to put them in daycare!)But I'm going to look into this mystery shopping stuff and see if it'll help make me feel like I'm still making a contribution to the household. Yes, I know raising my kids is a huge contribution, but it doesn't keep me in lifestyle I was accustomed to!
Secret Shopper? Secret shopper! Wow, this is the first time I've ever heard of something like this. I'm definitely very curious so please enlighten us with your experience on this once you get started.
I also like having a movie run in the background while I do chores at home. Not that I have so much to clean as much as you do!

THAT sounds like fun! Since I work retail, I'm always trying to figure out who the mystery shoppers are, but it's impossible. (and designed to be that way!) Still, I treat every customer equally, with a smile and a "Thank you," and a "Have a good day!" and all the appropriate store-mandated crap like, "Would you like to receive our email newsletter?"

As an avid shopping hater (love new things, hate to shop on-line or off) I have to say that getting paid to shop wouldn't be so bad, but I'd check out the link given in the warning message. My kids had to do school on Presidents Day because we homeschool and took December off (we do go year round.) I hope you survived your four day weekend and that we see you back soon.
