"It's okay--let it out!"

Gravatar Okay, I have experience with this particular issue and here is what I've learned:

* Kissing them on the face is a big no no because everyone else is kissing them on the face. I've learned to kiss the tops of heads.

* Make them wash their hands often and you wash yours often as well. Hand sanitizer is your friend.

* They touch EVERYTHING so keep washing your hands after you touch any surface.

* Teach a child to sneeze into their sleeve or shirt and not their hands. Flushing dirty tissues is a good idea too.

* Touching them leaves you wide open. Did I mention you should wash your hands often when they are around?

I never thought I would get through three kids. I started to loathe the idea of them coming near me especially when they got to be school age because the colds come more often. They still get sick, but I'm so much more careful and I've actually by passed several of their little colds besides they are so adorable and they mean no harm.

Gravatar I keep forgetting your Birthday is on Saint Anthony of Padua's Feast Day! (June 13) When you were a wee lad, did you think the Novenas and Carnivals etc were for you?? Anyway, here's hoping Anthony will help you feel better long before your special day! HUGS

Gravatar There is a HUGE St. Anthony carnival in Delaware. It is a monster of an event.

Gravatar I am over the whole Catholic Experience.

Gravatar and here I was going to tell you to go to Lourdes and dip yourself into the healing waters until you feel better...

Oh well, keep drinking the vodka and thinking happy thoughts.

I hope you feel better soon ... and yes, children, as cute as they are, are just walking petri dishes.

Gravatar I would dip myself in the water of Lourdes if it would stop boiling!
